| PDO, Wrappers offer new cases for iPods
PDO recently announced several new additions to its iPod case lineup, introducing several aluminum and silicone models for the iPod touch, Nano, and Classic; while Wrappers unveiled several new sleeves for the 3G Nano. After receiving iLounge.com's 2007 iPhone Case of the Year award for its TopSkin silicone case, PDO has introduced the TopSkin for the iPod touch and 3G Nano. Both cases include screen protection, and feature a 360� ratcheting belt clip and wrist strap. The TopSkin for iPod touch sells for $20, and $15 for the Nano, and are available through PDO's online store. The new aluminum PDO cases are dubbed the Aluminum V2 for iPod classic, and the Aluminum N3 for 3rd generation iPod nano. Both are made from aircraft-grade anodized aluminum, and offer neoprene padding inside to protect the iPod from harm.
Sony Hits Its Stride With In-Car Connectivity at SEMA Trade Show
LAS VEGAS - October 30, 2007: Sony's mobile electronics showroom at the Specialty Equipment Market Association's (SEMA) annual trade show is featuring new Xplod products that bring to life major mobile electronics connectivity trends. These trends include made-for-iPod head units that charge the device and provide full menu control. Attendees can also see how to make hands-free phone call capabilities and stream music wirelessly with Bluetooth-enabled head units. They can hear higher-quality sounding HD Radio broadcasts and 5.1-Channel surround sound for the car. "Connectivity is the key trend this year," said Mike Kahn, director of mobile electronics in the Digital Imaging and Audio Division at Sony Electronics.
